War Veteran, CoFounder, President, VetPets(Heroes Helping Heroes)

In 2022, Washington County alone lost 38 people to suicide. Thier age ranges were from 17-91.
17 had a history of suicidal threats/statements. 1 had a prior attempt. Potential Risk Factors Identified: end of relationships, financial/employment strain, mental health, legal issues, recent onset health issues, loss of independence, gender identity, death of spouse, chronic pain, and confrontation over alcohol. My speech will aim at addresses these or similar issues and possible solutions from my year in the field helping those suffering from these statistics.
