After 25 years in the banking industry, Janette Schafer changed careers and is proud to call herself a realtor. She started her professional career in title insurance, then worked for a real estate settlement company. Having worked in home lending and commercial real estate lending during her banking career, she brings her clients a 360 perspective on each and every real estate transaction. She became a Certified Women's Business Advocate in 2008 while working for National City Bank.
Janette holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Business Writing from Carlow University. In 2020, she earned her Masters of Fine Arts Degree in Poetry from Chatham University.
Janette Schafer lives with her husband Garth and their two cats in Mckees Rocks, Pennsylvania. Her hobbies and interests include creative writing, publishing, theater, singing, nature photography, and hiking.
